Discovery Tour mode coming to Assassin's Creed Origins
See the sights without combat or story
Assassin’s Creed Origins is getting a tour guide mode, where players are free to explore the ancient Egyptian setting without fear of death or failure. The mode, coming in early 2018, will allow players to roam about the land, from Alexandria to the Giza plateau, and take part in guided tours that have been curated by historians and Egyptologists. Players will be able to learn more about the Great Pyramids, Cleopatra and the mummification process.“It’s a dream come true for us to offer Discovery Tour by Assassin’s Creed: Ancient Egypt, an educational mode built specifically for people to learn more about the incredible history of Ancient Egypt...” said Jean Guesdon, creative director of Assassin’s Creed Origins.
Discovery Tour will be free to all players via an update in early 2018. The main game is set to release on October 27th, 2017 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
