Knack 2 is launching in September

Sony has announced that Knack 2 is set for release on September 5th, 2017. The PlayStation 4 exclusive title is said to be an evolution of the first game. Developers have set out to add more variety to the gameplay, with additional platforming, puzzles, and special modes.

The sequel gives players control over Knack’s size and this will be used for puzzles. You might need to shrink him down to squeeze through a gap, or use discarded parts as a counterweight. Knack’s move set has been expanded. He can now use parts to create a shield, and hurl objects towards enemies to stun them.

Co-op gameplay is integral to the sequel, allowing anybody to pick up a controller and join, and then leave just as quickly. There will be special co-op moves that two players can perform together. Knack 2 will be playable on the show floor at E3 this year and pre-orders will be available soon.
