Dishonored: Death of the Outsider announced

At E3 2017 today, Bethesda and Arkane Studios have announced Dishonored: Death of the Outsider, the first standalone adventure in the Dishonored series.

The adventure will star Billie, who will be using all-new powers and abilities to infiltrate underground fight clubs and square off against the Sisters of the Oracular Order, the immortal Envisioned and the Outsider-obsessed Eyeless gang. She’ll also face new Clockwork Soldiers – along with other new and returning foes – and retrieve ancient artifacts in a bank-heist mission, eventually facing the Outsider himself.

Throughout her journey, Billie will uncover some of the secrets surrounding the Outsider, a 4,000-year-old entity who’s been at the heart of the Empire’s most dishonorable moments.

As a standalone adventure, no previous experience with any Dishonored games or DLC is necessary. But for existing fans, Death of the Outsider promises a significant expansion to the Dishonored gameplay and lore. And with the Original Game Plus (OG+) mode, fans can unleash their full potential for creative chaos by using a selection of signature abilities from Dishonored 2.

Dishonored: Death of the Outsider is coming September 15 to PC, Xbox One and PS4.
