Sate of Decay 2 new gameplay details

Today, during the Xbox E3 2017 briefing, Microsoft has shown off some State of Decay 2 gameplay for the first time ever in public.

The developers say they have crafted a more dangerous, unpredictable world that allows players to engage with one another in co-op multiplayer to survive. That means more unique survivors, each with their own traits and motivation, more options to manage your community and develop your base, more new maps to create a truly diverse and expansive zombie-filled world and more scenarios for you to make crucial decisions.

Adding co-op was the most requested feature by State of Decay fans and will be included with the seequel. In co-op, players teaming together will manage their own communities and work together to survive the zombie apocalypse.

This will also be an Xbox Play Anywhere title with cross-play and cross-save support on Xbox One and Windows 10 PC.

State of Decay 2 will be launching in Spring 2018.
