Batman: Arkham Asylum already leaked for PC
The delay to "improve PhysX" and other features may as well be untrue, as the finished game is already available on torrents
No doubt, as often the case is - when the PC version of the game gets delayed, people expect a viable reason for it. As the case is with Batman, the explanation was that PhysX features were being worked on, and further improvements to the overall engine were made.
However, this is all for naught as a finished, working copy of the game has been leaked to torrents on September 3rd, 12 days before the official release date. It is now widely avaliable and is playable. The source of the leak this time seems to be Direct2Drive's digital copy.
It's a sad story, which not only lets pirates have this eagerly anticipated game early, but also goes to show that perhaps the PC Version delay was all smoke and mirrors - perhaps it was done simply to curb piracy and let the console sales have their day. Either way, the plan backfired once again.
