Titanfall 2 free to play this weekend

EA and Respawn Entertainment have announced that Titanfall 2 will be free to play this weekend on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The free weekend will begin on November 30th for EA Access and Origin Access members. Everybody else can begin playing on December 2nd. The free weekend will end on the December 4th. Xbox Live Gold subscription is required for players on the Xbox One platform.

To coincide with the free weekend, Respawn are releasing Angel City's Most Wanted DLC. The DLC includes a remastered version of the Angel City map from the first Titanfall game, a new pistol, and new customisations for existing Titans. Players that preordered the game can play the new map November 30th, all others will get it free on December 3rd.

The DLC will also bring paid cosmetics to the game. Initially, this will consist of two Prime Titans that change the shape and look of Ion and Scorch. There will also be paid packs with Titan art, camouflage, and callsigns. Paid cosmetics are being used instead of a season pass; all post-launch maps, modes, and weapons will be free for all players.

Titanfall 2 released on October 28 for PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One.
