COD: Modern Warfare Remastered campaign released on PS4

Activision has announced that starting today, PlayStation 4 fans who pre-purchase the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Legacy or Digital Deluxe editions can begin playing the Modern Warfare Remastered campaign 30-days early.

The original Modern Warfare has been remastered in 1080p, featuring enhanced textures, physically based rendering, high-dynamic range lighting and much more. Fans on other platforms will have to wait until the full launch in November to try out the Remastered game.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will also contain 10 MP maps from the original Call of Duty: Modern Warfare game. Additional MP maps will be made available by 12/31/2016 for free. For disc-based versions of the game, Infinite Warfare game disc must be inserted to play Modern Warfare Remastered.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered can only be obtained by purchasing it in a bundle with the upcoming Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is set to launch on November 4th for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
