New PS4 accessories coming soon

Along with the PS4 Pro and PS4 Slim announcements today, Sony has also revealed new accessories that will be coming very soon for the console.

The new Wireless Controller for PS4 (CUH-ZCT2 series) allows the light from the light bar to emit on the touch pad, making a new luminous line in the same color as that of the light bar. Also, the new DualShock4 supports USB communication in addition to the currently available Bluethooth, allowing users to have control also via cable. The new wireless controller will be available for $59.99 USD / $74.99 CAD.

There's also a redesigned PlayStation Camera (CUH-ZEY2) with the same features available on the current model, including PlayStation VR (PS VR) support, and features a new compact cylindrical form. PS Camera includes a stand, and will be available for $59.99 USD / $74.99 CAD.

Last but not least, the Platinum Wireless Headset will be released late this year. The headset promises premium construction and materials for extra comfort, as well as 7.1 virtual surround sound. Select PS4 games supporting 3D audio for the headset will deliver surround sound from all directions, including above and below you. The new premium headset also features multi-position, hidden noise-cancelling microphones for chat and is also compatible with PS VR and mobile devices using an included 3.5mm audio cable.

The new controller and PS Camera will launch alongside the updated PS4 Slim console on September 15, 2016.
