System requirements announced for Mankind Divided
Preload times also revealed for all platforms
PC gamers looking to pick up the newest Deus Ex game in two weeks might need to check if their system is compatible. Here are the min specifications for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, released today.
- OS: Windows 7.1SP1 or above (64-bit Operating System Required)
- CPU: Intel Core i3-2100 or AMD equivalent
- RAM: 8 GB
- Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 7870 (2GB) or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 (2GB)
- HDD/SSD: 45 GB
- OS: Windows 10 64-bit
- CPU: Intel Core i7-3770K or AMD FX 8350 Wraith
- RAM: 16 GB
- Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 480 - 1920 x 1080 or NVIDIA GTX 970 - 1920 x 1080
- HDD/SSD: 55GB (Including DLC)
The specifications are a considerable leap above its predecessor, especially with the graphics card. The min requirement of a 7870 GPU is surprisingly common these days, as Fallout 4, Doom, Hitman, Just Cause 3 and The Witcher 3 also required that exact card. All games ran on lesser graphics cards. So we advise some caution when taking these requirements as gospel, the game may run perfectly fine on lesser systems.
Preloading on Steam will begin on Friday, August 19th at 09:00 PDT / 12:00 EDT / 17:00 BST / 18:00 CEST. PlayStation 4 preload begins August 21st at midnight local time and Xbox One preloading has already begun.
Deus Ex Mankind Divided releases on August 23rd, 2016.
