Final Fantasy XV has a DLC Season Pass

Square Enix has announced that the Digital Premium Edition and Season Pass upgrade for Final Fantasy XV are now ready for pre-orders.

The Digital Premium Edition includes both the base game and Season Pass, which eventually gives purchasers access to downloadable digital content. The planned content for the Season Pass will contain 6 DLC releases. Their names are not yet final, but they will offer content such as Booster Packs, Holiday Packs, Story Episodes, and an Expansion Pack.

By pre-ordering on Xbox Games Store you’ll get the Masamune weapon, Recolor: 16-Bit Buddies; Angler Set item, Recolor: Platinum Leviathan, Camera Kit item, and three Xbox Avatar items. On PlayStation store, you’ll get the same items except instead of Xbox Avatars, you’ll receive a Digital Mini Sound Track and a console theme.

Players who have already purchased Pre-Order Bonus Pack can upgrade to Digital Premium Edition by searching for Season Pass Upgrade and pre-ordering it. The Digital Premium Edition is priced at $84.99 USD. The Season Pass Upgrade is priced at $24.99 USD.

Final Fantasy XV will be released this September for Xbox One and PS4.
