Slain update promises a revamped experience
New developers release Slain: Back from Hell patch
Publisher Digerati Distribution has announced the release of a major update for Slain!, also updating the game's title to Slain: Back from Hell.
"With the prospect of Slain! slipping its release date yet again Digerati made the (now understood to be a tad reckless) call to release Slain! as it was and hot fix/patch over the next few weeks post release. Unfortunately, the problems turned out to be a lot deeper than first thought and then the original team disbanded, which left just the lead artist. The code that needed fixing fell on a new programmer’s shoulders. But it is all fixed now and the game is where Digerati would've liked it to be the first time around," said the publisher in a statement.
Today’s final update brings the game to a difference of "night and day from the original launch". All fans who purchased Slain between the initial launch and today will get a key for the new version in their Steam inventory.
A complete list of changes can be found on the game's Steam page.
