Multiplayer shooter is free for a limited time to celebrate release of Warzone Firefight
Microsoft has announced the release of Warzone Firefight – the eighth and largest content release to-date, for Halo 5: Guardians.
Warzone Firefight includes three new maps, two new armors, the Halo 2 Beam rifle, customization options including HCS Pro League skins, Score Attack for campaign, a new Forge canvas, a new UNSC air vehicle, the new Warzone boss and of course, the titular Warzone Firefight PvE game mode.
In celebration of the launch of Warzone Firefight, Halo 5: Guardians will be available free to download for anyone with Xbox Live Gold starting today and running to July 5. The game is also on sale at 50 percent off in the Xbox Store.
Also launching for a limited time is the “Firefight REQ Reward” program, which grants all players a Gold REQ Pack upon signing in to the game. Gold REQ Packs contain a variety of permanent and one-time use items that can be used in Warzone and Arena game modes. You’ll get more Gold REQ Packs with additional wins in Warzone Firefight, unlocking up to a total of 10.
Halo 5: Guardians was released exclusively on Xbox One last year.
