Respawn Entertainment working on Star Wars game

Action adventure game in development at Titanfall studio

Posted on

EA and Respawn Entertainment have announced that they are creating a 3rd person action adventure game set in the Star Wars universe.

A new team led by Stig Asmussen will lead Respawn's development of the licensed property. They join other studios – Visceral Games, DICE, Capital Games, BioWare, Motive and more – who are also currently working on Star Wars projects.

"At EA right now, we have multiple studios building a variety of great Star Wars games spanning different genres, all united by our team’s passion for Star Wars™ stories, characters, and adventures," said Patrick Söderlund, Executive Vice President of EA Studios.

Respawn have created Titanfall, and are currently working on a sequel due for a full reveal at EA Play next month.
