Free Games with Gold for May 2016
Strategy, racing, and free candy this month
Microsoft has announced the Games with Gold lineup for May 2016.
First up is Defense Grid 2, available from May 1-31 on Xbox One. The tower defense sequel promises new additions and strategies that will force you to think and adapt on the fly. Also on Xbox One, Costume Quest 2 will be available from May 16-June 15. Seek out candy and costumes with turn-based battles that always feel fresh, and fight against time to stop Dr. Orel White from taking over the world.
Next, Xbox 360 (and XOne players via backwards compatibility) subscribers can play GRID 2 from May 1-15. Pick your car – choose from a variety of vehicles spanning four decades, from classic favorites to modern supercars – then blaze your way to the top of a new world of motorsport. Then from May 16-31, enjoy the peg-busting, ball-bouncing fun of the PopCap classic, Peggle.
These titles are available as free downloads for a limited time, for qualifying paid Xbox Live Gold members in all markets where Xbox Live is available.
