Harmonix Music Systems have announced that synchronous online multiplayer is coming to Rock Band 4 by the end of this year as part of a feature expansion pack.
Harmonix consulted with some of their biggest Rock Band fans to ensure synchronous online multiplayer in Rock Band 4 is easy to use and will appeal to hard core Rock Band players.
Another community-requested feature, support for the ION Drum Set is confirmed for this fall through a new Rock Band 4 Peripheral Adapter for Xbox One made by PDP.
Rock Band 4 was released last year for Xbox One and PS4.
