Doom closed multiplayer beta set for April

Bethesda has confirmed that DOOM’s multiplayer beta is coming at the end of this month.

Players eligible for the DOOM closed beta through their purchase of Wolfenstein: The New Order will be able to join the mayhem between March 31 and April 3. Participants will be able to try out 6v6 Team Deathmatch and Warpath modes on two maps: Heatwave and Infernal.

Weapons in the beta will include Rocket Launcher, Plasma Rifle, Super Shotgun, Vortex Rifle, Static Rifle, Heavy Assault Rifle, and Lightning Gun. Plus power weapons Gauss Cannon, and equipment such as Frag Grenade, Personal Teleporter, Siphon Grenade.

DOOM is set to launch May 13 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
