Risk of Rain coming soon to PlayStation

Hopoo Games and Code Mystics have partnered up to send Risk of Rain to PS4 and PS Vita, with new features.

Thanks to the PlayStation Network, there will be automatic matchmaking integrated into Risk of Rain. With just one press of a button you’ll be automatically placed into a lobby with up to three other players around the world — no IP address or port forwarding required.

Now you can play on the couch, and on the internet — all at once. While the four-player local co-op is available, you can now play online lobbies while sharing a machine with a friend — up to two per machine. You can also invite friends into your lobby through PSN.

There will be cross-platform online support between PS Vita and PS4.

Risk of Rain is an action platformer with roguelike elements. With permanent death as a primary feature, players will have to play their best to get as far as possible. Fight on a mysterious planet with randomly spawning enemies and bosses. The game made its debut on PC in 2013.
