Just Cause 3 Expansion Pass announced
New DLC coming to the open world action game this year
Square Enix and Avalanche Studios have announced plans to release DLC expansion packs for the open world action title, Just Cause 3.
The first content pack entitled Sky Fortress ($11.99) is launching March 2016. This pack contains a brand new set of missions that introduce a new threat – a Sky Fortress and an army of deadly robotic drones. To tackle his deadly new adversary, Rico Rodriguez will use a new upgradeable, rocket-powered, weaponised ‘Bavarium Wingsuit’ fitted with shoulder mounted machine guns and auto targeting missiles - alongside his new ‘Eviction’ personal defence drone and ‘Bavarium Splitter’ assault rifle.
The second pack is entitled Land Mech Assault, and will contain another new series of missions that introduce a unique new vehicle that can be carried over into the main game; a heavily armoured mech armed with a gravity gun that allows objects to be picked up and powerfully thrown in any direction. Although the mech is as strong as a tank, it is highly manoeuvrable and agile.
The third expansion will be called Bavarium Sea Heist, and details are forthcoming. All three content packs will be available before the end of summer 2016.
Fans who want to get all three DLC packs can purchase Air, Land & Sea Expansion Pass for $24.99. This Pass grants access to the three expansions, and also lets users download them one week early.
Just Cause 3 was released late last year for PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
