Multiplayer beta announced for Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2
Public beta available for PS4 and Xbox One next week
Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 will have a public access multiplayer beta beginning January 14, and ending January 18. The multiplayer beta will be available for all PlayStation 4 and Xbox One users.
The beta will provide gamers limited access to the Backyard Battleground, a hub area that connects players to every map and mode. Players can explore the hub or jump into a game of Flag of Power, Garden and Graveyards, or Herbal Assault. There are six new playable characters, three for the plants and three for the zombies. Online battles will have up to 24 players and will take place on four new maps including the low-gravity Moon Base Z map.
To play, just download the beta on the Xbox Live Marketplace or the PlayStation Network Store on January 14.
Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 will be released on February 23 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
