Halo 5 update adds Forge Mode
Free Cartographer's Gift update also brings maps, weapons, and more
Microsoft and 343i have announced that Cartographer’s Gift, the latest free update for Halo 5: Guardians, is now available.
The update adds Forge Mode, which has been rebuilt for Halo 5. Forge is a game mode originally released in Halo 3 designed by Bungie to allow players to customize, save, and share maps for Custom Games.
The update also brings new items – the classic M41 “SPNKr” Rocket Launcher, MARK IV [GEN 1] armor set and two new assassinations – “Nice Try” and “Oh Snap” – REQs have been added for you to collect for your arsenal.
Four new maps – the Warzone map “The Battle of Noctus,” Arena map “Overgrowth,” and Big Team Battle maps “Antifreeze,” and “Entombed” – are also included.
Halo 5 is available now, exclusively for Xbox One.
