Jazzpunk coming to PS4

Console version of adventure game now has multiplayer

Developers Necrophone Games have announced that their humor adventure game Jazzpunk is coming to PlayStation 4.

Jazzpunk is a comedy adventure set in an alternate reality Cold War World, plagued with corporate espionage, CyberCrime, and sentient martinis. Gameplay is inspired by spoof comedy films and cartoons of yesteryear, with a focus on weird gadgets, exotic locales, and open-world style exploration.

In Jazzpunk, one of the minigames was a full-on parody of multiplayer old school deathmatch games like Unreal Tournament, Goldeneye, and Quake 3 Arena called Wedding Qake. Since release, one of the most requested features from fans was the expansion of this “Wedding Qake” minigame into a proper multiplayer mode. The developers will fulfill this request on PS4 - a classic “four-player splitscreen” multiplayer mode will be included, featuring unlockable characters, new levels, and more.

Some new single player content will also be featured on PS4, but the details are not available at this time.

Jazzpunk was first released on PC in early 2014.
