Dying Light Season Pass increasing in price
Price rise in early December to account for The Following expansion
Techland have revealed that the Season Pass for Dying Light is getting a price increase on December 8th. It will be priced at $29.99, up from the current price of $19.99. This increase comes because the season pass will include The Following expansion pack, reported to be big enough to be a standalone title.
The Following expansion will include a whole new area outside the quarantine zone. The new area is apparently as big as the entirety of Dying Light. Players will again take the role of Kyle Crane and can now drive dirt buggies. The Following is planned for release in the first quarter of 2016.
The expansion will be priced at $19.99 when it launches, and can be purchased separately. All current season pass owners will get the expansion included with the Season Pass.
Dying Light was released on January 27, 2015 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
