Game of Thrones finale in November

Telltale Games and HBO Global Licensing today announced that the upcoming season finale episode, 'The Ice Dragon,' for Game of Thrones Season 1 will debut beginning November 17th.

Also, the first episode, 'Iron From Ice,' is now free to download for all. The season will also debut on disc at retailers worldwide beginning November 17th for $29.99 USD.

At the same time on November 17th, the season will come to its conclusion in the season finale episode, 'The Ice Dragon,' marking the first time in Telltale's release history that the finale will be available to download simultaneously across all console, PC/Mac and mobile platforms, day and date, worldwide.

The game series is based on the world, characters and events seen in the hit HBO TV show, which in turn is based on George R. R. Martin's books (A Song of Ice and Fire). The events in the game series begin towards the end of Season Three of the series, and end right before the beginning of Season Five. Players visit familiar locations such as King's Landing and The Wall, as well as unfamiliar locations such as Ironrath, the home of House Forrester.

Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series is available for PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, and PS4.
