Driveclub: PlayStation Plus Edition being removed next week
Sony decides to remove the PS+ version from download
Sony has announced that Driveclub: PlayStation Plus Edition will no longer be a free download for PS+ Members.
During the monthly PS+ Free Games update on October 6th, the game will be removed from the roster. This edition was supposed to launch alongside the retail version, but big technical problems prevented this from happening. The PS+ Edition of Driveclub was only released back in June.
Sony hasn't provided an explanation for this sudden removal. The PS+ Edition was supposed to act as a free-to-try model for the racing game, with more content available overtime and with purchases.
Driveclub launched back in 2014, exclusively on PlayStation 4.
