Release details provided for Hitman
Three Sandbox levels and six missions at launch
Io Interactive has revealed what is coming with the release of Hitman in March 2016. At release, players will have access to 3 sandbox levels—Paris, Sapienza and Marrakesh—and 6 missions in those levels. There will be over 800 NPCs in these locations that can be killed via its Contracts mode. This content represents around half of what is planned for the upcoming assassin simulator.
In the three months following release, three more sandbox levels will be released—Thailand, USA and Japan—along with more missions. This will go alongside weekly targets and events. Also planned are new weapons, disguises and ways to take down your target in the levels. The levels are said to be six times the size of those found in Hitman Absolution.
Players can buy the Intro Pack for $34.99, which will give them access to all the initial content at release. You can then upgrade for $29.99 and get all the post-release content. Otherwise you can buy the entire game for $59.99, saving $5, which gives players everything in the game. If you preorder now, you guarantee Beta access for PS4 and PC. There will be no beta on Xbox One.
Hitman will release for PS4, PC and Xbox One on March 11th, 2016.
