PES 2016 will again include Brazilian teams

Konami Digital Entertainment has announced an exclusive game license agreement with Brazil’s Sport Club Corinthians Paulista for PES 2016. Additionally, 20 Brazilian teams from the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A (“Série A”) will be included in the game for the third time in a row.

This represents the only full local league in one of the top soccer countries in the world to only be featured in PES 2016.

PES 2016 will feature a total of 24 Brazilian teams. The full lineup of the 20 Brazilian “Serie A” (Campeonato Brasileiro Série A) teams include: Corinthians, Atlético M-G, Grêmio, Fluminense, São Paulo FC, Sport, Atlético Paranaense, Chapecoense, Ponte Preta, Internacional, Santos FC, C.R. Flamengo, Cruzeiro, Figueirense, Avaí FC, Goiás, Coritiba, Joinville and Vasco da Gama. Additionally, PES 2016 will feature four Brazilian clubs from “Série B” which include: Bahia, Vitória, Botafogo and Criciúma.

PES 2016 will be available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC on September 15th, 2015.
