King's Quest to debut this month

First episode A Knight to Remember will release July 28

Sierra has unveiled the release date for King's Quest: A Knight to Remember, the first chapter in the new King’s Quest adventure.

Starting on July 28, fans can pick up King’s Quest: A Knight To Remember for PS4, PS3, and PC, with the Xbox One and Xbox 360 versions to follow on July 29.

Each chapter (episode) will be sold separately, or you can buy the $40 King's Quest: The Complete Collection - a season pass bundle that will unlock every episode as it is released. As a bonus, anyone who purchases The Complete Collection will also gain access to a playable epilogue.

King's Quest is an upcoming video game in the King's Quest series. A reimagining/reboot of the series, it is being developed by The Odd Gentlemen. While it will be an adventure game like the previous games in the series, the interface will not be point-and-click, and the game is to be divided into five episodes.
