Magicka 2 released

Paradox Interactive today released Magicka 2 for the PlayStation 4 and for Windows PCs.

Magicka 2 allows would-be Wizards everywhere to play alone or in groups through a new adventure with hundreds of spells.

Three versions of Magicka 2 are available. The Base Game ($14.99 - PC and PS4) is self-explanatory. The Special Edition ($19.99 - PC and PS4) includes the base game and also The ‘Warlord’ and The ‘Cultist’ Robe, Sword, and Staff; plus a unique custom Theme featuring Vlad (PS4 only). Finally, The Digital Deluxe Edition ($24.99 - PC only), which still includes the base game plus the two robes in the Special Edition and also a digital interactive map and the orchestral original soundtrack.

Magicka 2 brings players back to the co-op action adventure series, providing all-new game features alongside the original’s spellcasting system, humor, and always-on friendly-fire. Guided by Vlad, up to four Wizards at once can challenge a series of new levels in a co-op campaign, or take on challenge levels for score, prestige, and game-altering artifacts.

The game is available via PlayStation Network and via digital retailers on PC for $14.99, or in a Deluxe Edition for $19.99, at the game’s website.
