Cities: Skylines has sold 1 million copies
City building sim continues to be a success for Paradox Interactive
Paradox Interactive and Colossal Order have today revealed that Cities: Skylines has smashed through the 1 million sales barrier.
First released back in March, the city management sim also has seen 33,000 mods created to date by the community and made available via the Steam Workshop, with an average of 21,000 concurrent players continuously online since launch.
The game has already set records for the publisher last month, when it sold 250,000 copies, including pre-orders, in its first 24 hours on sale.
Cities: Skylines is now available for purchase for $29.99 on PC, Mac and Linux, with a deluxe edition available for $39.99 that includes five in-game historical monuments.
