New Game Network v2.0

We are proud to announce the opening of a new chapter in the history of New Game Network, a transition to a new website.

Posted by on
New Game Network has today opened a new website to better meet the needs of its staff and its visitors. The website is a modified version of a content management system designed specifically for video games.

To mark this transition we have also decided to increase our reach by including three more platforms alongside the PC. PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii consoles will be covered with news, reviews, videos, screenshots. Games will be continually added to the database as the weeks progress.

We felt it was important to move our content to a better system in order to link all our game related items together. The new website features:

+ Media integration - videos and screenshots will be linked into each game in the database allowing visitors to view either when browsing a game.
+ News integration - News is now linked to games and platforms allowing news items to be grouped within a game and letting visitors view that game easily after browsing the news item if they wish.
+ Enhanced Articles - now articles can be easily linked to existing games and our opinons on games including pre-release and first impressions can be posted.

The core principles of our site remains, all our staff are volunteers who are passionate about gaming and aren't afraid to speak their mind on issues related to gaming. As before our game website will not contain any advertisements.

Existing members of our old site will need to re-register to participate. We hope our loyal members will do so and join us on this transition and enjoy the new features the website has to offer.
