New Game Network - One Year later
We take some to reflect on the events of 2009, and the path to the future
From Ben T, Co-Founder:
2009 was a pretty big year for us in terms of trying to push New Game Network around to sites and we are currently reaching about 10,000+ visits per month with that figure continuing to increase.
Our biggest news story by far was actually on our old website. It was about the Left 4 Dead 2 Boycott group just starting and it generated in excess of 10,000 hits for us over just a few days. However most of our other big news stories have been on this very site.
PC Gamers rage against Modern Warfare 2 brought out the rage in our fellow PC gamers and generated about 5000 hits again over just a few days. Making it our biggest single item on our new website.
We have been tweaking the website continuously, adding features, fixing some minor problems and even causing some ourselves. We still maintain as an ad-free website and have no plans to change this any time soon.
If you are interested in joining us, making contributions to our forums or just comments on our website we invite you to Register. It's free and will allow you to rate news, videos and articles along with the ability to comment on any of our items. We'd also love to hear your feedback, what you like or what you'd like to see more of.
I'd like to thank our contributors over the year, many of which continue to write for us and have dramatically increased the number of articles we are producing currently. You can see a full list of contributors on our staff page
2010 should be an exciting year for gaming and we hope you can join us.
