Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric in November

The franchise reboot kicks off this year

Sega has released the box arts and North American release dates for Sonic Boom games.

Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal will be in stores November 11, 2014 in North America, while Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric will be in stores November 18, 2014. Both games are part of the franchise reboot, in partnership between Sega and Nintendo.

Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric promises a different experience than past titles. The detailed levels and emphasis on each character’s unique abilities will showcase the distinctive feel of an action- adventure game, giving players more choice in exploration as they work as a team to stop the deadly snake-like ancient villain, Lyric, before he can power up his army.

Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal will be released on the 3DS, and Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric on Wii U.
