Radical Entertainment has revealed more related news for the upcoming release of Prototype 2.
The third issue in the new Prototype comic series from Dark Horse Comics, ‘The Survivors Part 1’ continues to bridge the gap between the conclusion of the original game and the beginning of Prototype 2. Illustrated by Chris Staggs, ‘The Survivors’ follows a small group of New York residents trying to escape the city after it has been transformed into NYZ following the second outbreak of Mercer’s Blacklight virus.
Also announced today was the launch of the official Prototype merchandise store, with themed apparel, art and accessories.
Prototype 2 will be available for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on April 24, 2012, and for Windows PC on July 24, 2012.
