Left 4 Dead 2 new mode – Scavenge

When Left 4 Dead 2 hits Xbox 360 and PC November 17th this year it will also come with a new game mode not seen in the original Left 4 Dead. That game mode is called Scavenge.
In Scavenge there are Gas Canisters placed about the level, players must find these canisters and use them to fill up generators, each one adding more time to the clock. Beware though, these gas canisters can be accidentally shot and destroyed reducing your chance of survival. There are apparently 16 gas canisters placed in any level.
Teams will go through 3 rounds per match and the best 2 of 3 will be declared the winner. There will be six Scavenge maps included when the game is released this November.
