Super Mario RPG remake announced

Nintendo has announced Super Mario RPG for Nintendo Switch, a remake of the Super NES game from 1996.
Players can join Mario, Bowser, Princess Peach, and original characters Mallow and Geno, in an RPG filled with twists, turns and treasure. Mario must team up with his allies to face down a menacing force known as the Smithy Gang in order to recover seven stars and repair the Star Road.
The remake will feature refreshed visuals and gameplay tweaks.
Super Mario RPG is planned for release on Nintendo Switch on November 17, 2023.
