Staff Positions Avaliable

Postby The_PC_Gamer » Tue Jul 28, 2009 3:16 pm

We currently have the following positions available [as of Feb 1st, 2010]:

#1. Reviewer
#2. PHP/Java coder
#3. Previewer
#4. Opinion/Special features writer

#1. A reviewer is a person who is willing, on consistent basis, contribute reviews to our website. Once submitted, the author is fully credited with his work. If you wish to apply for this position, please make sure you have some samples of your work ready. We also support "guest reviewers" - we accept reviews from various members on case-by-case basis, with no title change. There is no "contract" to sign or promises to make, we would be happy with you contributing as many reviews as you wish, given that you produce at least 1 review per month to make sure you are still active. We are currently looking for reviewers capable of gaming on the following platforms: PC reviewers, PS3 Reviewers, Xbox 360 Reviewers, and possibly 1 Wii writer. One staff member can, if they wish, cover more than one platform. Sample of work is required - you can create something new, or let us read some of your previous reviews.

#2. We need a knowledgeable PHP/Java/HTML coder who is familiar with the structure of the PHP-based content management systems. Primary tasks will include updating existing code to add features and visible changes to our pages. Long-term tasks include creating new code to allow us further development of the website. Background credentials / sample of work required.

#3. Are you on the "inside"? Do you love exclusive/early access to Betas, demos, preview events, and can write your thoughts down in a presentable manner? If so, you should apply for this position - the requirements are similar to the Reviewer position, except you will be providing game coverage based on early impressions and hands-on demos, which may be more interesting for those who love seeing the unpolished product and seek out it's undocumented features.

#4. Everyone has an opinion, and many folks like a good controversy. Why not make your statements stand tall, above those crowded forum posts? We are looking for general interest/special feature writers. You will mostly be working on your own schedule (again, hoping for at least 1 piece of work per month) and selecting your own topic. You're free to write about almost any subject, but note that NO intentional flaming/trolling articles will be approved/tolerated.

If you wish to apply for any of the following positions, please email us. Include the following:
