Assassins Creed 2 PC leaked


The title leaks well ahead of release date, much like its predecessor

Much like Assassin's Creed before it, Ubisoft's latest PC release has been leaked to Torrent websites.

The leak is a complete DVD image of the game, sourced from the Russian release of the game. It will likely not be long before an English version appears. Of course, there is still no crack to pass the new DRM system that Ubisoft has implemented, so it is unclear if the leaked copy is actually playable.

Nevertheless, it will be interesting to see what the response from Ubisoft will be, and how effective the new DRM will prove itself. Will this copy get cracked before release date? Or perhaps after when servers are online and coders are able to replicate the code they need? Only time will tell.

Assassin's Creed 2 releases on PC on March 16 in North America and includes both DLC packs from the console versions.

I guess at least it wasn't a month before like the original They still have a security issue with their duplication process though.
