Sony to broadcast its E3 2014 presentation in movie theaters

Sony has announced that PlayStation fans in the US and Canada can experience the company's E3 2014 press conference in a new way – live, on a massive screen in more than 40 movie theaters.

Hosted by Geoff Keighley, the PlayStation E3 Experience will be an HD simulcast of the PlayStation E3 Press Conference. Attendees will also see 30 minutes of extra content, including exclusive extended game footage and interviews with game developers.

As previously announced, the event will take place Monday June 9th at 8:30pm ET / 5:30pm PT (show starts at 9:00pm ET / 6:00pm PT). This experience is free, but space is limited, so fans will need to register quickly via the event website. The Canadian options are limited to theaters in Toronto, Vancouver, and Montreal.
