Ubisoft has announced that Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Future Soldier for Microsoft Windows PC will be available in stores and for digital download on June 12th.
This means a delay from the May release date for console versions. PC version will include updated visuals with DX11 support, multi-monitor solutions support, online widget, extended party functionality and party text chat, Uplay Friends system, and of course fully customizable controls. As for the tricky topic of DRM: only a temporary broadband connection will be required for one-time product registration at first launch using the player Uplay account. From that point on, no permanent connection is required, except for online modes. The hardware requirements have also been released, as seen below.
