DICE and EA have confirmed that starting today, all players can participate in the Battlefield 3 Open Beta.
The multiplayer beta is played on the Operation Metro map, in Rush mode. A limited number of unlocks are allowed for each class, and any progress you make will be reset when the final game is released. The Open Beta ends on October 10th. To download the Battlefield 3 Open Beta, just sign into your console's online service and find the download. On PSN and XBL the beta is located under Demos, while PC users will have to download and use Origin. Battlefield 3 is coming to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Windows PC on October 25th. |
