The news that Rocksteady is ready to release downloadable content for its popular superhero adventure Batman: Arkham Asylum is not a surprise, but the fact that it will be free on consoles certainly is.
An in-game scrolling news ticker says that free DLC is headed to the game in nine days, or on September 17. No other details on the content are available yet, but an Eidos mod confirmed that it will hit all platforms (PC, 360, PS3) simultaneously.
