Destiny expansion House of Wolves detailed

Bungie and Activision have provided new details about Destiny Expansion II: House of Wolves.

The DLC will introduce a new Co-op Arena Activity. Set in the Prison of Elders, teams of three players can take on waves of increasingly difficult enemies to earn high-level legendary and exotic rewards. You can match-make with other players anytime, or form your own Fireteam to take on higher difficulty challenges with even greater rewards.

The Trials of Osiris will be a brand new, weekly 3v3 elimination event where power levels matter. Entrance is obtained through a Trials Passage, a scorecard that tracks your team’s wins and losses. The more wins your team accumulates in each Passage, the greater your rewards, which include Osiris-themed, endgame gear.

Players can earn new weapons, armor, and gear, including Legendary, Exotic, Faction and Fallen-themed items. Personalise your Guardian even more with House of Wolves themed emblems, armour shaders and player ships. There is also a new Light Level cap of 34, including the introduction of gear ascension to increase the maximum level of previously earned Legendary and Exotic weapons and armor.

The DLC also contains new story content, featuring Petra Venj of the Queensguard and Variks, a Fallen loyal to the Queen. A new social space in The Reef – set within the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter – contains new vendors offering unique rewards, new bounties and more.

Finally, enter new competitive multiplayer maps Black Shield, Thieves’ Den, and Widow’s Court. Or participate in the new Strike event The Shadow Thief.

PlayStation gamers will also get access to a fourth competitive multiplayer map, Timekeeper, which is set within a clockwork-like structure on Mars built by the Vex.

Destiny Expansion II: House of Wolves, will be available on May 19th, and can be purchased for $19.99 individually. It also comes included in the game's $34.99 Expansion Pass.
